The very first social magazine of Jangid Brahmin Samaj was started by Akhil Bhartiya Jangid Brahmin Mahasabha in March 1908. Its name was Jangra Samachar. Its publisher was Pt. Brij Lal Sharma, Editor was Pt. Dal Chand Sharma, Manager was Pt. Baldev Prasad Contractor and Reviewer was Pt. Pala Ram.

In its initial period there were many low and high conditions to run the magazine in proper manner. But with co-operation of samaj candidates it continued on the way. Pt. Dal Chand Sharma successfully carried out their work for 3 years. After the month December 1913, the Jangra Samachar was discontinued due to dissolution of Peoples Bank. There after there were many tides in publication of it. Its publication location , Publisher, Editors were changed time to time.

In 1933, the name was magazine was renamed as Jangid Brahmin, which is continued till date.
